applications.
Our valves are the only valves that can be tested to determine actual flow rates at various
pressures. They are also the only valves that can be easily adjusted to reduce flow rates if
the flows have the potential for damaging the tank.
The "Friend" incorporates a very efficient and effective diffusion stage in the valve itself that
affords a larger cross sectional discharge area than the valve body itself, and eliminating
the need for a separate diffusion device that not only reduces flow rate, but also increases
installation costs.
Our valves have been in service since 1998 at times with very severe water quality conditions
where hydrants have not been properly flushed, as well as utilizing exclusively water pumped
from creeks and lakes containing high levels of abrasive, corrosive, and mineral contaminates
without the need for any maintenance.
